This is disingenuous. The Cavs were very good offensively and probably the best offensive Cavs team ever but they were absolutely undermanned to deal with the Warriors 2 way player personnel. I actually thought they should have just tried to put a Kyrie/Korver/LBJ/Love/Frye line up out there just to see if they could out 3 point the Warriors because we definitely didn't have the defensive personnel that could also produce on the offensive end. We were usually sacrificing one for the other while the Warriors had the luxury of having multiple lineups that could do both at all times. It's why Kyrie was discussed in trades for Paul George. We would have matched up a little better if that were the case cuz at least its another 2 way player.

LOL you play that lineup and the warriors score 150 a game. 3 defensive liabilities plus lebron who wanted no parts of durant would be a disaster.

:gucci:No love for the 94-95 Houston Rockets they was the 6 seed in the west. Was down 2-1 to Utah in first round in a best of 5 and came back and won 3-2 in Utah:ld:.
Was down 3-1 to the Charles Barkley lead Phoenix Suns in the 2nd round again, came back in won game 7 in Phoenix:picard:. Thought that was gonna be Barkley best chance at finally winning a ring that year:damn:. Played the Spurs in wcf and won 3 games in San Antonio:merchant:. Hakeem should've been arrested for felony assault for the way he was whooping on David Robinson:scusthov:. Then swept the power house Shaq and Penny's Orlando Magic in the finals:ooh:.

I would move the 2014 spurs up since between game 7 of the mavs and game 5 of the heat they had one of the highest points per 100 possession in playoff history...I believe their 120.8 points per 100 possessions in the finals is still the record...and they had an all time point differential...if you take out those two losses to OKC their point differential is 20 something :mindblown:...how you consistently beat 3 of the top 6 teams in the nba by 20 points:mindblown:

During that time frame they were arguably the greatest offense in the history of basketball...people forget that Miami defense was historic in some categories during their 4 year run to...so they actually put up all those numbers against 2 elite defensive teams in OKC and the Heat...

If the Raptors win, they'd end arguably the greatest dynasty in NBA history after being huge underdogs at that. Thats tier 1 status. The implications are historic. First champion outside of USA. Kawhi's elevation, winning a ring in his first season with Toronto.

How much of a dog was Toronto in this series? Asking cause I don’t know.

2000 Lakers - A chore to watch. Was hoping Indiana could get lucky and win Reggie his 1st ring. The beginning of the Laker dynasty.

2001 Lakers - Watching AI go off and win a game was awe inspiring but even still, no one expected the Lakers to lose. No drama after game 1. Didn't even watch after game 3. Forgone conclusion.

2002 Lakers - Yawn. Shaq and Kobe vs Jason Kidd. Don't even remember this series. Lakers 3 peat.

:dahell: how are Kobe and Shaq's first 3 rings throwaways?

Early 2000s western conference was as brutal as it gets. There were so many great teams. 2000 Blazers and 2002 Kings had the Lakers on the ropes.

The fukk kinda stupid list is this. There's more to a title run than just the NBA Finals.

You show your inability to read and understand the premise. I'm not ranking teams. I'm ranking the difficulty of the rings. The 3Peat Lakers played some of the worse NBA Finals opponents in history. Yes that Laker team was historic, but that run was not. They were HUUUUGE favorites to blowout each opponent every year from 00-02. They did not accomplish the impossible by beating the Sixers, Pacers and Nets. They did what the world expected them to do. Nothing legendary about that. That is the premise of the thread, my friend.

There's more to a championship run than the Finals.

The western conference playoffs in the early 2000s was brutal and the real NBA Finals.

Yall must be some dumb lil kids to think there was anything easy about the 2000-02 Lakers rings.

How are the 2017 warriors and 2014 spurs not top tier? The warriors tied for fewest losses in a playoff run and the spurs set the record for number of wins by 15+ in a single postseason. The 2011-12 Heat managed to come from behind each of the last 3 rounds of the playoffs, managing to win even with major injuries to their 2nd and 3rd best players. The 1982-83 76ers lost one playoff game. Where are they? The 1988-89 pistons swept the first two rounds against Boston and Milwaukee, beat the bulls in 6, and then swept the finals. Where are they?

people try to underrate that 2017 Cavs team, they were a Really good team. they were loaded with talent and 3 point shooters. I believe they set a couple records that year too, like 3 pointers in a game by a team and Kevin Love scoring like 37 points in a quarter. people forget that team STREAM Rolled thru the East on their way to the finals.

The Warriors played a better "Team" game but the Cavs weren't undermanned by any stretch.

Kyrie outplayed Steph (AGAIN)

Kevin Love averaged just as many points as Klay did

out of the big 3 for both teams the only Cav that was outscored by his "counterpart" was Lebron, by KD.
That 2017 Cavs team is crazy overrated, they got a lot worse defensively and their NetRtg was worse overall as well. Anyone who has went against the Healthy Warriors from 2017 on was undermanned. Kyrie outplayed Steph in the two games in Cleveland but Steph outplayed Kyrie in the three games in GS while Kyrie had better efficiency, steph was better all-around.
