You do not have to wait for the official free agency period to make offers to other peoples free agents

Go to

• General Manager
• Manage Roster
• Trades
• Player Finder

Once you are in player finder go the the section that says "contract years remaining" and change it from "any" to free agent

it will pull up every free agent.

press x on the free agent you want and it will give you the option to

cancel, view player card, trade, trade finder, and sign

i dont think you get the option to sign a player until the person controlling his team has completed the "my free agents" portion of the offseason.

continue to check back to see when guys are available to make offers to

set your free agent priority list for the guys you make offers to. it works, but you have to submit the offers.

nobody has an excuse to not have a roster with 12 guys and then the cpu has to sign bums for you to those 3 year 20 million dollar contracts. if that happens its on you.
