Hard to see AT&T taking on more debt in order to acquire NBC Universal. However, AT&T selling Warner Media to Comcast might be a possibility. Way too many streaming players in the space, and two only stick out in front of the pack. Netflix and Disney Plus are so ahead its hard to catch up at this point.

IF Warner acquired Comcast, they got NBC though...

Why would AT&T pay anything? NBC are the ones who want the merge, not AT&T

AT&T can’t buy Comcast. If anything apple or Amazon might buy something
No, AT&T is smaller than comcast.

The only way this works is if they spin off warner media and NBC Universal and create a separate company that's listed on stock exchange. But, both companies are in the same industry and compete in the same fields. I dont see a merger between these two companies.

A lot of these companies and streaming services are going to have to merge just to stay alive. They are going to soon realize that the cost of owning a streaming a streaming service and the subscribers they receive in return won't be enough to stay afloat.

I'm surprised that most people complaining haven't realized that yet.
