But anyway, this kid got a rocket arm in addition to 4.4 speed. I watched the Colorado game beginning to end & he was explosive

All he needs is to fine-tune his ball control issues & dude is looking like a future 1st rounder just off raw talent alone

Nah, he's actually a true passer who can run unlike Taylor who was a running QB who tried to pass a little but didn't scare any defense with his arm.

Also not a diva and he doesn't have his father running/ruining his life for him either.

Hot take or not, kid is nice and if he can continue to progress can easily be a mariotta clone with possibly better accuracy.

Nah. Has nothing to do with race, Taylor Martinez wasn't HALF the thrower of the football that AM is. Besides, he was a spread option QB, his passing numbers are dwarfed by other QBs from his own division back then. Je got accolades for being a runner primarily.

AM can actually throw the ball down the field with accuracy.

He's our best REAL dual threat QB SINCE Frost (Eric Crouch was a hoe).

We also didn't get the benefit of playing a cupcake warmup game for our new offense, since our game against Akron was cancelled, so these guys basically had to fix everything in real live game time on the fly against a pretty decent Colorado team.

This is the most promising team we've had since we moved to the Big Ten....and this kid is a big reason why.
