Well that seals the Switch as the best selling console of all time
No way it doesn't get there with this next holiday season and no new system
Kinda sucks but all good can wait another year

What the hell does Nintendo have left to release outside of Metroid Prime 4 and whatever the holiday Pokemon game is?

Though lets be real thats probably enough to carry them through the holidays :wow:

Getting a first gen just in case they get cracked again :blessed:

Always the plan. Nintendo systems will always be hacked "eventually" cause of Pokemon. But best to get a launch day device and just sit on it until it gets cracked.

So you think it’s just gonna be indies, Nintendo 1st party and PS3 hand me downs?
That's what it was on the switch, haven't seen any reason why that would change. All of nintendo's full court presses for 3rd party games are half hearted and it has shown over the years. They'll go hard to get an extremely watered down and unplayable big game that's old as hell (call of duty), pay for rights to get a mid-level 3rd party exclusive (last time it was bayonetta) and then fast forward 3/4 years later no one's porting to that old ass hardware and they are back on their own island.

The only way to break the cycle is for them to give us top notch hardware but since they don't need to, they won't. I don't see what would make you think this won't be the case this time.

The Series X is top notch hardware and it’s still ain’t getting shyt either.

MS spent billions on aquiring studios and nothing to show for it.

That's just not correct, XSX is getting hella 3rd party games. Not all of them, but the vast majority. Any major game release not developed by the big 3 that has a budget behind it doesn't have a switch version.

As long as the Switch 2 is backward compatible, it’ll be a must buy. If it’s not backwards compatible, we’re gonna have a problem

Read somewhere that Nvidia early on was selling Nintendo on custom DLSS type upscaling for Switch1 titles. Odds are NS2 will have that backwards compat.

Watch them tie it to Nintendo Online subscriptions. :why: :snoop:

Sony must be very happy about this. Gives the PS5 free room to truly grow since the switch is on its death bed.

Nintendo though, what are they releasing this year?
Lol they both on the reapers list then :russ:
