This G-1 has been more similar to past tourneys. A lot of filler mixed with some nice matches. At some point we are gonna get a couple of great shows but this is not gonna be "can't miss" like the past 3 years.

Night 3. The commentators are clearly there, so I guess it must be some some external deal which prevents them to put it on the streaming service.

Ibushi/Gallows and Makabe/Fale were passable.
Styles/Yano was very entertaining.
Shibata/Naito was the match of the night. Naito in full a$$hole heel mode. Crowd HATED him. This match makes me think that or Shibata and Styles didn't blend right, or they are saving a better showing for another occasion, or Shibata was being more cautious on night 1.
Tanahashi/Tenzan was good too. Tana milking that mixed reaction, like Cena. But of course, at the end, everyone loved him.

Don't know if it is intentional or coincidental, but once again the B block (night 4) got the single camera treatment. I'll check it out tomorrow. And there is another show tonight :lupe:

Just watched Shibata Styles. Match was piff. Some lukewarm responses here, but I thought it was great.....the basic ending kinda tells me they left some in the tank for later though

Gonna watch the gawd Ibushi in a bit here after Hannibal:eat:

Shinsuke Nakamura, who was the favorite to win the G-1 Climax tournament, suffered a left elbow injury in Saturday's match in Kagawa against Yuji Nagata.

He missed today's show in Hiroshima. He is scheduled to face Michael Elgin on tomorrow's show in Beppu. We have no update on his condition at this point.]

:lupe: It will have to be something serious for him to miss the rest of his G1 matches but still though, this tournament isn't off to the greatest of starts :mjcry:

Night 4

Goto/Karl Anderson was a good match
Machine Gun undefeated thus far:wow:

Nakamura/Nagata was enjoyable as well. Good chemistry between the two

Honma/Okada was fun. Didn't watch any of the tag matches yet

Didn't seem to be favoring it at all from what I can remember. Hopefully it's just precautionary:nakamuramjcry:

My Internet has been absolute :trash: all day. I've been barely able to catch up on day 4.

All the matches are in the good pile. (That powerbomb in the Goto/Anderson:damn:. Nakamura/Nagata's ending was kinda botched. Maybe was the camera angle)
My favorite was Okada/Honma. They need to give this motherfukker Honma something, dammit.

Didn't notice anything on the match. Maybe it's not so bad. I have him winning the tournament:francis:
