I dont buy the story 1 bit. We have had many years of players saying rose was the ultimate team mate, now all of a sudden he wants to fight for "alpha dog" ? That doesn't even make sense.

I know how secretive this franchise is and how good they are keeping things in house, if these things are leaking, some one wants them to. I would think this might be a leak from thibs camp, who would love to deflect the attention from his horrible offense and failure to deliver as a coach vs a ailing cavs team to know things didn't look like it worked because now all of a sudden rose and jimmy got issues. Been plenty of instagram and twitter post showing how those 2 get along fine. If the offense was coached better and it was better spacing on the floor for both of them, then they both would have had a much better series. The coach and the make up of the team put both of them in a bind, I ain't trying to hear this rift bullshyt.

It makes a lot of sense. Being the ultimate team mate and fighting to be the alpha dog can both co-exist. He was given the keys to this team in 2010, and there's been nobody that has come along and carried this team to a level that's even comparable to what he's done ever since - well that was until Jimmy evolved into an elite two-way player this season. Despite being the 'ultimate' teammate (whatever that means), he was still the leader and player in which the offense revolved around - now that's not the case.

If there's any truth to this, it seems like Rose is just having a hard time dealing with the fact his position of power isn't as great as it once was.

Bernstein actually wrote the piece. I guess goff was on the radio discussing it. The way it was worded seems like an observation from an outsider. Bernstein was the one ripping rose after the game so this makes sense.

All this talk about who quit and whose to blame is hilarious cause after we came out flat in the 3rd, I went . Didn't really observe much else after that.

I didnt realize Gentry had so much coaching experience outside of PHX, kinda soured me on the idea of him a bit

Ive listened to Bernstein a bit today, hes not really saying there is beef, or any dislike ... just that they need to be on the same page and that its another area where Thibs failed as a coach

That's true. I felt like earlier in the season we were getting to the point where the offense was really clicking. Had to be around December/January when Rose was hitting his stride. There was a game against the pelicans where it felt like we had a legit big 3. We had Pau and Jimmy or Rose running pick and pop, Rose was attacking, and Jimmy was posting up. We could never get it consistently though. Some nights Rose was defer, then other nights were like 2011 offense.

Nikka Jimmy is a top 5 sg in the league .....Top 3 in my opinion

Great question, I took this season off.. First time since Duncan joining the league... Last year he looked like a average player and was surprised on reading how much he improved... He did look better once I saw him in the play offs but no where max player... I have a gut feeling that he's trying to show out to get that contract and maybe he's gonna just chill after that

One minute everybody saying the Bulls got a gang of weapons and we don't need Rose to go ham in order to win. Next minute he passing the rock because he's a passive aggressive lil girl

He jus got over the hurdle of playing two good games in a row on one day's rest. He was passing cuz the nikka legs were dead in them fourth quarters.

Bernstein the same cat, after we got eliminated, that said Rose didn't have one signature game. Gang of nikkas didn't show up, but they want to blame the nikka fresh off another knee surgery

He averaged 23/6/3 with elite defense in the playoffs
