I'm just pondering how different the last few years woulda been if we had a different coach. All these years thins got all the credit for the Bulls success as if he was coaching a roster full of scrubs.

I knew better. Thibs is the reason we have been so injury ridden. Would we had a ring already? Who knows. At least now the Bulls may finally have the opportunity to do what they were destined to do. No more hard headed idiots standing in the way.

Otherwise next year will be a repeat of what atl just did, win good in the reg season but fall to cleveland because we adding old washed up vets and late draft picks to a core that needs more.

And the Bulls were never full of scrubs, they weren't full of all stars either but they had a whole bunch of good role players. Calling them scrubs is bullshyt. The sixers & Lakers and Pelicans were full of scrubs not the Bulls.

Plus the eastern conference has been relstively weak also contributing to the Bulls' decent records.

I can't even talk about anything else with you unless you're willing to admit the above and that he's overrated as hell.

Ask both of them why do the bulls management have a history of bumping heads with coaches and why they never make in season trades

So any old coach is carrying a starting 5 of dj augustine kirk hinrich jimmy butlerdunleavy boozer and noah to 4th in the east and a 50 win team? Without rose? Really?

Look I said "good coach" not greatest of all time, but good for top 5 in defense 4 out of the 5 years he was here, good for best record in the league 2 of those years. He was a good coach, just not great. He might have needed to go, but I'm not going to front on him. Clearly he had the ability to get the most out of his players and you can't act like defense is just something anyone can do.

Do we need to list all the "good role players" thibs coached up who either got new deals on other teams and regressed or the guys thibs made look like something and are not even in the league anymore. Dude was a good coach. Just probably not good enough to get us to a title. He will be great for a young team just wanting to make the playoffs because he likely will get them there.
