there will always be a segment of our society that prefers working with their hands and there is nothing wrong with that. throughout the 50s, 60s, and 70s many AA men were able to support their families and live decent lives with these inner-city blue-collar jobs.
Yes, those were trade and union jobs. nikkas didn't want to pay into the union and folks think they are above trade jobs while flipping burgers, which makes no fukking sense to me. nikkas don't want to put in the time to become an electrician or a pipe-fitter, aka, the shyt you can't pay an illegal to do due to unions and permits and all of that shyt. nikkas want the job where they throw some drywall up, swing a hammer for a bit, put down some tile, then call it a day and get a check, but that shyt aint gonna fly. It's 2016. Those bullshyt jobs aint guaranteed no more. I love working with my hands, that's why I build shyt in my free time as a hobby, because I understand how money works.
My step brother started a moving company and only wants to hire black folks, but 2/3rds of the folks he hires don't want to show up even for that, which is part of why companies hire illegals, because there is no safety net for them to fall back on and to be lazy.
