Likely the Browns are filling positions they consider more important than Center (Safety, CB, ILB) and depending on the contract offered they might not match. Then again they could because they have the 2nd most cap space in the league right now.

I thought Bennett was the biggest priority this off season besides earl and Sherm getting extended. Well be alright if Tate walks. Bennett is a real special talent. Not many guys can play outside and move inside and be effective. And after the deals griffin and Michael Johnson look to be getting, its a great move.

Im not saying I disagree, but our strength was our depth. We are sacrificing a bit of that now.

I think Tate is more valuable than most. He did a commendable job as a 1 and if Percy stays healthy he should shred other CBs. Baldwin and Kearse have been coming on though so Im not too worried if we dont bring him back...especially if we pick up a McCluster or somethin for the cheap to handle ST..I dont want Percy back there regularly so he can stay healthy
