According to Pro Football Talk, the Broncos offered Rodgers-Cromartie a six-year, $54 million dollar contract – a deal which he turned down.

Initial reports came out suggested that an offer was pulled, it but it appears DRC wanted more money.

As the source explains it, DRC declined to accept a deal believed to be worth $54 million over six years.

The team decided to then move on to other players like Darrelle Revis and then eventually Aqib Talib (who they signed), leaving DRC out in the cold.
