I just found out about the site bandlab a few weeks ago, and messed around and made some "songs" on it, this is just for fun so the audio,raps,lyrics,etc are very novice, beats/hooks are free from youtube, but it's a fun lil hobby for now.

I'd really like to know how to touch up a bad acapella. I usually just rip the acapella create a beat in that tempo and just hope that EQ and Reverb do enough to touch up the shytty vocals

Both. PC users only need the "dll" files in the zip that have 32 or 64 in the name. Those are the 32 and 64 bit versions of the vst, put those in whatever folders your DAW needs them to be in.

Couple beats I made in the last few days.
I took a long break from working on music, and I think it helped a lot. I feel like I can hear a clear improvement in the shyt I'm working on now vs a year ago, or even a month ago. Everything feels more fresh, less formulaic. I want to just keep working on it every day to continue improving, but I might actually improve more quickly if I take more time off. It's not worth trying to force it if it doesn't just flow naturally.
