Bruh ITS THE WORLD SERIES. No reason that shyt shouldn't be getting HUGE ratings. Baseball fukked up by turning its back on the shyt that brought it back. That's what the graphic showed...saying that only half of baseball fans watch if it's not their team in the WS. I'm one of them, really.
What he gives is just further evidence that baseball hasn't been America's Pastime for years, maybe decades now because it's not what it was back then. It's competing with tons of other things, and it's never gonna win the battles vs. all the NFL games on diff nights or basketball.
It'll never happen, but something that can help baseball maximize viewership is a shortened schedule where the World Series ends up being played before the prime time shows are back, before the NBA is back insight so that it can almost get undivided attention...and while it's still ideal weather too.
I gotta say I only watch when the Mets are competitive.
