Well after his last pilgrimage he did sort of tone down some of his rhetoric. Malcolm never really directly called for violence. None of his followers ever committed violence towards whites. He spoke of self defense and separatism more in colloquial terms.

Malcolm was usually speaking of the violence that would and did occur (riots and such) if cacs ain’t get right. He was mainly a observer and a harbinger of what was to come

The fact that he wasn't in the civil rights movement makes the post even dumber. Smh
You do know Malcolm went to Selma a month before the March and his assassination and spoke at Tuskegee in that same timeframe Just because he personally didnt believe in nonviolence doesn't mean he didn't support those who did in his latter years. He even told Dr. Kings wife he wanted to work more closely with their movement but was unable to reject the use of violence if it was necessary

Above the fray.
Nation of Islam sold us out in a major way
I used to think that. I now look at whatever happened as internal NOI business. When Malcolm was in the Nation, his brother (blood brother) committed some kind of violation and was kicked out of the organization, for a certain amount of time. No Muslims were to communicate with him during that time. Malcolm followed the orders and turned his back on his own brother during those years. He openly talks about this in the auto-bio. He also attributes that the pain his brother must have felt from family rejection to be responsible for the mental problems he developed later. He said he would have taken a bullet for Elijah Muhammad , and copped to the charge if he was on trial for murder.
In so many words, Malcolm hints that , had he been given orders to kill a "traitor" that he would have.

I've read the auto bio at least 20 times, and just recently had clarity on this topic.

Stop it.

NOI created Malcolm X, Muhammad Ali, Clearence 13 X, Minister Farrakhan and Dr Khalid Muhammad.

5 Legends came out of the NOI. You dont have a platform that can create 5 legends on such a level. All you have is an unrealistic sense of entitlement to point fingers at something you can never do yourself.
