If we're judging solely based on what he does as a rules expert/analyst. He's bar none the best. Matter fact, almost everybody else I've heard do it is damn dreadful at it. Right or wrong on the actual call, he always communicates the rule and situation clearly & succinctly. Maybe it's his confidence or presence, but I usually side with him over the refs actual call.
This reminded me of the worst college football guy on Google erf, who's the guy on the college efootball playoff show

Gotta strongly disagree here...he sounds the part but he looks like a vampire. I can't cosign kiper hate. He at least does his research and created a lane nobody had before.

Field Yates
Just has a slappable face. His name just screams I grew up rich with a platinum spoon in my mouth. Has a Psychology degree but somehow worked in NFL front offices, probably bc he "looked the part" .
I thought he was a jerk from the moment I saw that his name was "Field", such a lazy, dikkhead decision of the name lets me know the apple prolly don't fall far from the tree.
