He was booked sooooooo lazily when he got back. I had seen some of his matches in Japan and thought it was cool how he improved and looked like a big deal, but I 100% knew all the theatrics wouldn’t translate to the WWE audience. He may as well have been the average NXT call-up.

If he was gonna be Tensai they needed to let him dominate in the Japanese strong style and stuck with the push until it got over. It could have worked but it was going to take a minute. WWE had like a two-three show limit to get over and this was with them sabotaging you. Good luck.
