When he came back, the fans were almost in shock like when Brodus Clay re-debuted as the Funkasaurus instead of a monster heel like during those vignettes from when he was having squash matches on Superstars. The Tensai character was completely over the top. Sure, we complain about guys barely having gimmicks now, but it wasn't believable at all for Tensai to return like that.
