Thing about IT was it was not relatable unless you are going to the circus. He was scary with those teeth though. The clowns from the movie Clownhouse were more relateable as they were from the insane asylum

Jason Vorhees..I used to camp every other weekend in the summer...i was straight shook that he or someone like him would kill me...

Also (not sure if this counts) but the aliens from aliens had me shook...our basement had panel ceilings so i always thought when I was like 6/7 the aliens would grab me from the ceiling tiles...
