this is cause hes syndicated and been around for ever. Charlamagne and them aren't making this kind of money I bet. They getting close to it the more they get syndicated but the average dj doesn't make that much and don't have any control really.

Its not about being good or bad its about being powerful enough and drawing enough people that you taking your talents elsewhere would decrease the revenue of one station and increase that of the other by a certain amount.

Word but the thing is, they aren't powerful. You could plug in another trio right there and they're gonna get those ratings regardless. They're syndicated in prob 40-50 markets and that's why they're popular, they're part of the machine.
Individually they're trash, it's not like if all 3 left all the sudden everybody is gonna turn off that show and listen wherever they pop up.
People listen to breakfast club DESPITE those idiots. Those guests will still get booked regardless and that's what people tune in for.
They are no where near a big boy status, Howard stern and shyt where their presence leaves a gaping hole. Those clowns could be replaced immediately. They're prolly barely pullin in 6 figures, could be less. They have no leverage, they thank God they're getting any sort of paycheck.

I think people are forgetting how dominant HOT97 was before the breakfast club, they made the whole station hot. If it was so easy to just put together 3 people for an average show and go from 0 to the hottest urban show in the nation in a few years, don't you think people would be doing that?
