Tariq done fukked some of y'all up real good. You can't have real discussions if you goto bullshyt accusations as soon as someone doesn't agree with your stance. Dude didn't have to say it as harsh knowing how people get emotional but he does have a point.
Exactly but why should the people that sold them to whites be blamed? Its not like blacks can't buy these spots up because if you look some of these spots are cheap as shyt to buy and do work on. Like I said in a previous post I know somebody doing good off exactly that. Cats see opportunities and just let them pass by while complaining. I don't get that. Every time its change in anything its a chance to do good $$$ for yourself we just need to get with it and stop worrying about something that will always happen regardless.
Nah, that was a bullshyt generalization. I don't listen to that c00n tariq whatever his name is or any of those other guys on youtube they're just as bad as snake oil salesmen.
You guys take this extreme stances to demonize your own people and A.) don't know what you're talking about or B.) fail to look at the issues surrounding it.
New York was under complete urban decay and social blight for decades. In Bed Stuy Viet Nam Vets were given houses for $1 in Bedstuy because so many were vacant and to help clean up the area. The upkeep on a lot of these buildings costs a fortune, a lot of them were built in the late 1880s early 1900's. As a "community" our income was never on par with other groups. We were also subjected to decades of the "Drug War" which saw a lot of young people imprisoned. With that said there is still a lot of black ownership in these neighborhoods of homes, apartment buildings, and businesses which can't be understated . Have some people sold and moved? Yeah. But not nearly as many as the media convinces you to believe. I live in Brooklyn and I've seen a lot of changes some negative some positive. But to say there is a compete flight of black home ownership and businesses is a lie. If anything there is renaissance and a lot of opportunity here.
These neighborhoods have a ton of personality and I hope they stay way. I love where I live.

A lot of the houses are extremely expensive to buy and renovate by my standards even, I do it for a living. There are blacks out here doing a good deal of buying and renovating and renting or flipping but a lot of it is hedge funds, real estate companies, and to a much lesser extent some wealthy whites creating single family homes for themselves.
