I'd give her a 5 or 6 vocally. I don't think she can't sing but I don't think she is great. She can hold a note and I like her breathy tone which works on certain songs. she is like a better version of Ciara vocally

My exact thoughts. After listening to her acapella and live videos, she's actually a much better singer than I originally thought. Her and Aaliyah are neck and neck vocally and Mya is the much better dancer/performer. Aaliyah had the hits though and the star appeal. Mya never reached that level.

Ciara definitely copied the Mya playbook and ran with it. Very underrated performer back in her day.
