I like Ashanti - vocals are moderate but having that Murder Inc. push/ production definitely helped her musically. I remember when people were trying to call her out for the Lady of Soul award or (whatever the title was) because they felt that she wasn't all that as far as her vocal ability. I also have to give her extra points because JLo stole her shyt and copied her style, while never really acknowledging her for it. S I don't like how Irv tried to backburner Ashanti bc JLo had the bigger name at the time either. She's a solid singer, stage presence is lacking but I still have some of her songs on my playlist when I'm in an R&B mood. Solid 7.

She couldn't sing if her life depended on it & she have absolutely no stage presence. Hella garbage like a trash can.

She had like 2 good years of relevance cuz she was with Murda Inc & as soon as they went down her career went with it.
