Not directed at you but people stay saying this about alot of cats from different races or whatever. Isn't it more that it just depends on the people? I know cats get grouped in & the whole thing but i'm saying ain't it mostly about who cats were around & possibly did street business/did work for/under & that's the thing that decides who they roll with?

u got it the other way around tbh. blacks on certain yards would be in trouble IF they didn't have the others with them.

The reason being, blacks are heavily involved in prison politics. Whereas asians arent.

Not really actually. What ended up happening is all the asians got PC'd up basically. The onlytime they really had to worry was during intake or something. Otherwise, they would be completely segregated.

As to people getting passes if they claim, thats about right. Also i think thats another reason others ride with black. A LOT of islanders claim black gangs. samoans, tongans, and certain other asians bang crip or blood. So its natural that they have a tighter bond with black gangs.

by the same token, A LOT of OG filipinos in cali are southsiders in prison, because they claim hispanic gangs before they hit prison. Imagine how strange that must have been when there was the asian greenlight. You would have filipinos that are southsiders, that are ordered to stab other filipinos who were in asian gangs.
