The top 5 talk was always a joke but where do you rank him?

Top 8?
Top 10?
Top 15?

I still have him in that 9-12 range.

Nowhere near the top 5 or top 10. Recency-bias like a mug here and the media is driving the narrative. He's a very skilled offensive player, but zero defense. Sounds like Dan Issel, Tom Chambers, etc.

No order, but from what I've seen in my lifetime, I can't rank him over any of these players who actually played against other elite centers regularly and performed at that level. He 100% wouldn't have the same success if he had to square up against any of these centers. They would've all gave him the business.

Kareem
Wilt
Shaq
Hakeem
Shaq
David Robinson
Moses Malone
Pat Ewing
Bill Russell
Alonso
Dikembe
Brad Daughtery
Bill Walton
Robert Parrish
Bob McAdoo
Dwight Howard (early career)
Artis Gilmore
Embiid (would be on this list, but he can't stay healthy)

After Kareem Shaq Wilt Bill Dream and Moses I know. After that we can begin to have a debate. Not saying he can't surpass these players or at least a couple but he's not there as of yet.
