Why isn't he the same player? Because he didn't post up this year and shot 3s? His role was constantly evolving in Spo's offense. The only difference between his numbers from now and his best years in Toronto is his minutes are down, his shots are down, and he doesn't post up. He's still highly efficient from everywhere but 3, but he's improving that. And his defense is still good.Bosh is not a 'top tier "player anymore. He's a very good player but he no longer is the same player he was in Toronto so don't give me that.
He himself said he doesn't want to bang in the post anymore..
Bosh is not a max player
If you were paying him based on talent maybe. But he's not a number one option and I'm not sure he's a number two at this point looking at his playoff performances. Bosh only dominates during regular season games. I can't remember any big playoff performances from him ever.
Bosh can definitely be a good #2 option on a championship team. That's what he has to be for the Heat to win again. He just accepted his role as the 3rd option and did that well.
Agreed.
If Bosh wants max, his ass can go.
Tallest guy on the squad but you want play in the post?
So you're saying you'd let Bosh walk if he asked for the max? Who else would agree with that? That's insane. Lebron wouldn't come back if Bosh was gone. And the team wouldn't make the playoffs if they were both gone. And Bosh's production would go up exponentially if Lebron was gone. He just seems less valuable because he plays next to the best player in the league.
You guys are caught up in this post up nonsense. Bosh can post up and would've done more if the offense didn't change and require him to be used for spacing. Also, Bosh rebounds well when he's in position to rebound. The spacing takes him out of rebounding position.
I don't see the reason for all the slandering of Big Shot Bosh.
