On the low....losing Mike Miller hurt Miami from a chemistry standpoint A LOT. I think I read somewhere where some Heat players publicly stated how it hurt to seem them amnesty him

That starts at the top with the big 3. Much like wade wanted bosh and Lebron to take a little less to look out for UD, Bron wanted them to do the same to look out for his boy. It's too bad he could never stay healthy here he was supposed to be a big part of what Riley put together but we never saw it at its best outside of game 5 OKC

Gortat should be one of our priorities.

man did you watch these playoffs? that's exactly what we need. another player who can create his own shot. We aren't gonna be able to afford Gorat unless Wade and Bosh take pat cuts tho

I heard Israel Guitieraez say the Heat should try and sign Patty Mills as a free agent. I wouldn't put it paste Riley to target a Spurs player but how much could we offer to steal him away?

Ira Winderman said the same thing. That we are going to look & try to sign Patty Mills too. But i doubt we can offer enough to get him away from Pop & the Spurs. Unless we tell him that he will start. Which i doubt.

I would need a spurs fan opinion on this, he seems like the type of player who if his shot ain't falling isn't worth a damn. If we were looking at point I'd rather check the asking price on Shaun Livingston, or even a defensive bulldog like Avery Bradley. He won't give you much on offense but you can't get everything

A lot of us were advocating the Heat getting Gortat and Gasol in the season thread.

My ultimate signing this offseason would somehow getting Lowry and Gortat but the money isn't there. But I would take that over Melo all fukking day. If LeBron opts out, and we keep Bosh and Wade, Riley should push for those two.

Pau could start in a front court with Bosh and Lebron. Spo would need to tweak the offense and take advantage of the post games. and both Lebron and Pau are great passers out of the post.
