Because for Bosh's salary you can sign several decent big men that will rebound and play defense. Bosh spaces the floor but he's terrible guarding opposing team's power forwards. He got abused routinely by the likes of Duncan, David West, and Joakim Noah.
Why should the Heat continue to pay 15 -20 million for a 6'11 spot up jump shooter? Rashard Lewis could do the same job much cheaper and he played better defense on David West.
If lebron leaves more power to him but I just can't see him being ok with a bunch of young players that have never played In The playoffs
