The more I think about it McBob is Boshs' replacement and they bring Melo in. They'll probably sign and trade Mario for another Big and actually run with Cole/Napier at PG if they can't pickup Stuck for cheap

I don't buy the Melo angle. Cap-wise Melo would still be giving up a lot to sign outright. And aside from Stephen A's "reporting" there hasn't been much to suggest that's going to happen. Plus, Bosh wants to be here and now he doesn't have to take a huge pay cut to do so. If Lebron returns, so will Big Shot Bosh.

Plan B should have been something like resign Bosh, resign Wade, Napier, UD, use Bron's money on either Deng, Gasol, Ariza, Parsons, Isiah Thomas, or Greg Monroe. with the money they were gonna spend on Lebron they could get 2 of those guys. Some combo of that would make you competitive in the East

Sign Wade to a 2 yr/36 mil, horrible contract but you're tanking and want to take care of him
Trade Norris Cole for Lin(his contract expires next year) and 2015 pick.
Trade 2nd rounder for Amare(expiring); Cleanthony Early, and THjr
Play Wade 50-60 games on 30 mpg
Tank this year and probably next, then go hard after. FA's in 2016 and/or players via trade.

There's almost no way Riley would accept that kind of step back, even if Lebron AND Bosh leave. He'd make something happen to keep them in playoff contention. It took the stupid Ricky Davis trade, the Shawn Marion experiment, and a bunch of other things before Riley settled on letting D.Wade suffer in purgatory for 2 years. And even then they were a top 5 team in the East with a #2 pick.

Tanking isn't an acceptable option for Riley. If you want to play post-Lebron Fantasy GM for the Heat, start considering Luol Deng, sign and trades, and all sorts of other outlandish shyt.

Fam... I would agree with you but nah I doubt he held a grudge throughout the season around Mike Miller. I think him being played to many mins was more of a factor and he'll probably discuss that with Pat at length in their meeting later on today,
