It does matter though when the question posed is:

The answer to that question should be yes.

Pat Riley is from the Lakers school of acquiring talent....thru FA and Trades. Riley doesnt "evaluate talent", he acquires the talent them by luring them to South Beach either by trade or FA:yeshrug:
But he needs to evaluate what talent he wants to acquire. And I can pretty much guarantee that he wouldn't have picked Anthony Bennet with the first pick in any draft.

Riley is a deal maker. He makes moves. He will stop at nothing in order to get the pieces. Cleveland is a joke of a franchise that Lebron left already cause they were buffoons

I agree, I just disagreed with your statement of him being considered a talent evaluater when he's not. He operates Miami just like Jerry West did LA when he was here. Go out and get the best players you can by FA/Trades:yeshrug:

As far as the rest of your sentence, that was an older regime:yeshrug:

But that apart of being a talent evaluater for years he found guys that fit his mold

The draft is a crapshoot you can look up any team and find tons of busts

Last I checked krye has missed more games than Wade last three years

If he goes more power to him but that cavs team would still be a mess
This. Leaving an organization that's won championships and has Riley involved, regardless of how involved he may be, to go play for a coach that has never coached in the United States is laughable.

You can say that.............and I can say, but he drafted Michael Beasley #2 overall with Russell Westbrook, Kevin Love, Eric Gordon, Brook Lopez, Roy Hibbert, Serge Ibaka, Nikola Pekovic, DeAndre Jordan, Omer Asik, and Goran Dragic all available:manny:

I think Riley has a great presence and just looks the part of a "winner". He can talk anyone into playing for the Heat. I also think letting LeBron leave would actually be BETTER for the future of the Heat.

Wade's on his last legs and Bosh is Bosh.....who knows what he's gonna do right now:manny:

I feel like why cant YALL make a run at Kevin Love next year or any of the other elite players next year?:lupe:

Miami has all the advantages that LA has, except the "history" behind it, but I would resign Wade for about 3-4 years, obtain maybe Jordan Hill to play at Center, Deng for about 12 mill at SF, bring back Halsem to put at PF and wait on Kevin Love for next year:yeshrug:

Yall should start over fresh imo and STILL have cap space for almost 2 MAX FAs:manny:

You're right, but Beasley was pretty much the consensus #2 overall pick that year. He was a beast in college, averaged 26 and 12. Bennett averaged 10 less points and 4 less boards in a weaker conference and there weren't many (if any) people that thought he would/should be the #1 pick, even with as weak as that draft class was.

The GM that drafted Anthony Bennett isnt in Cleveland anymore though:manny:

I thought it was a horrible pick too:yeshrug:

It's not just the coach

But you got Kyre and dion beefing last year showing how childish they are

Krye has never played a full season and got lebron boy mike brown fired again

You got the biggest bust in decades in Bennett

You got a rookie that may be years away from being special

You put bron on that team and there a too 3 seed in the east but hell no are they beating a fully vet team like the spurs or thunder or even clippers

Those teams have all been togethere for years and full of vets no way lebron and the kids are beating them

If he's about rings he stays in Miami at least two more years and add more vets

shyt or go to the bulls or rockets

But the cavs? They are not winning anytime soon

While I'm not to thrilled bout Bron going to play for dat pos owner, I think he really is trynna "just be home" now. Homie got his rings like he wanted n balled da fukk out. Breh aint gotta prove shyt to nobody no more.

I personally don't see how him n da Cavs gone be gon be equal to or better than eam dis past year's Heat squad..but I kinda get it. Bron just wanna be home now. Raise his family, collect dem coins, n just play basketball. :ehh:

If Lebron decides to leave I m not mad at him but I can't forgive him for going back to Cleaveland. It's crazy how people getting so emotional over this. I'll still say Melo is coming and Bosh leaving but Bron will tell Pat what to do exactly. Bron should act like Jordan and tell these dudes how things should run. Cant fault him for that.

Fair enough.

Anyway, as ridiculous as it may sound, I'd rather have him sign with Cleveland than sign a 2 year deal here and have to go through all of this again in a couple years.

Pat Riley should look towards the future if LeBron doesnt agree to resign for at LEAST the full 5 year Max:manny:

Take that cap space and build Miami Heat with some young players. Right now, yall looking like the Lakers at the end of the 2004 season.....I expect Riley to make some Boss Moves real soon, since that's all he knows:yeshrug:

If Bron doesnt come back, he should let Bosh leave as well, pick up some good role players and get ready for next offseason and all that cap space yall will have available:blessed:
