Bron about to force the Cavs to cooperate

Once a Heatle, always a Heatle :wow:

I wonder how though. Are going to sign Deng for more years but less money? Does Bron want Napier or Cole? Will it involve a cease and desist provision on giving the Cavs our first round pick every other year?!?!!! :damn:

Ugh, guys...a new day started and I'm not really looking forward to this season or FA.

We're a nice spot to live in and we got some cap room but...

-We're not attracting good FA on the strength of our players. Guys like Andersen and Allen who are willing to take a minimum to play with Lebron. I love Bosh but no one gives a damn about him or respects him like that and Wade isn't Flash anymore.

-I hate to say it but we don't have those kinda fans or arena that players love to play in or for. I still cringe when I see that "Fan Up" sign.

-We just aren't a team for developing talent. It's never really been out strong suit. Riley is good at making things work out in FA but we had a lot of out appeal in Lebron. Spoelstra isn't a "OMG, I'd love playing for him coach" for players.

What do we really have to offer right now, brehs? We just got ass-smashed in the Finals with Lebron looking like the only player who belonged on the court, thoroughly out-coached and outplayed, we LOST Lebron, and the players we kept looked like shells of their former selves. We can't be looking too appealing for guys who want to play for contenders so we ain't gonna be signing dudes to vet minimums now.

The next 3-5 years will be frustrating since there'll be little room to growth while they're stuck in the same place. Hopefully Riley doesn't trade any more future picks, because this team will be capped out for awhile after he gives longterm to deals to Ariza; Monroe, or Deng. I say treat this team with a grain of salt and don't get too amped up, because we'll see a quintessential treadmill team(capped out, early PO exits or late lotto picks) before Riley steps down in a few years.

You mean he carried them to two playoff appearances where he got promptly stomped by the Nets and the Magic?

So we're the Hawks now? :sadcam:

Gonna be first round fodder, give up our top ten picks to Cleveland, and pray a FA wants to play with us?

:why:

If Heat get a top 10 pick in 2015, Heat keep their pick, and it becomes top 10 protected in 2016(if Heat net a top 10 2015 pick). Assuming the Heat pick 11 or later this year(2015), the pick goes to Cleveland and Heat keep their picks in future years(2016 and so on).

Best case scenario would be for the Heat to somehow get a top 3 pick this year. If not that, just pray Riley doesn't trade away any future picks. This way when Riley retires in a few years, the Heat will actually have their picks.

Can someone answer me why in the fukk didn't mia offer LeBron a max deal !?! shyt is crazy in hindsight. You got a team with some slight tweaks away from being better than this year and being right back to the ecf at minimum. You have have bosh and wade opt out. You have bosh saying he will stay if Bron does. How do you let that slip away I mean it's clear as day in 2014 Bron is your max guy. Wtf happened

Breh, the offered him the max. They drafted a PG just for him. Riley was scrambling to sign players.

If you believe what Woj and Amico wrote in 2012, this has been years in the making. Their only shot to keep him was winning three in a row and after reading what I have been reading, that probably wouldn't have been enough anyway.

It was about business down here.

It wasn't anything Miami could control. Bron wanted to go back to Cleveland. Miami wasn't home for him.

I just can't understand a guy putting being there over stacking titles. I love my Yankees, and I love my islanders (fukk kate Murray and her fat ass for chasing us to Brooklyn), and as chaotic as my time in New York was, I'll always have a soft spot for it, but if the team was trash and an entire region embraced me on a team with most of my closest friends, I'd stay.
