I think because we have his Bird rights. If im getting the information right.

yep. bird rights allow you so sign players on your own team even if you're over the cap. because bird's salary was so low last year, his cap hold is only 915,000. so the heat will continue through free agency with the w/ birdman only taking up that number, then they'll sign him for 5 mill and go over the cap.

Nah aint nobody in the Heatle fam sleepin on Ennis the Menace. We all know that he is going to be good. But i think he might be a SF backup not a SG backup. Im hoping that Deng being on the team wont hurt his development. I really would like to see Deng take him underneath his wing & teach him. I kind of see Ennis being a Deng like player if he is developed right.

i'd rather have ennis guarding 2s than granger at this point in their careers. as long as he can shoot and defend the position, he won't be out of place.

Rather try to get a natural 2 to backup Wade. Because honestly i think Ennis is better guarding 3's. But maybe i need to see more of Ennis guarding more 2's. His length on defense should help him out a lot.


Edit: Also how would you guys feel if Riley went after Boozer. Since he might be amnestied?

He'd be good off the bench. Can't get away with playing him and bosh together for long.
