Then we should most definitely make a run at him. If we could come away with Aminu & Marion, maybe even Okafor? All for the vet min. That would give us a young wing & back 2/3. While Marion would give us some insurance in case Granger is
as hell. Okafor if healthy would just strengthen our rebounding & give us a solid big man. Even tho i would want Boozer(but it isnt looking good for us to get him).

If only they had some time to plan. Seems like they were caught off guard.
But Pat put himself in a situation to compete and have plenty of time and cap flexibility to plan for the years ahead

Bledsoe is a very good player that you can build around.
Also i think its dumb on RIles part. If we had a chance to get Bledsoe & that was the reason why he didnt pursue Bledsoe. Because if its true that Bron has been planning to go back home since 2012. Then it wasnt really Rich Pauls fault, cause Bron was the one that wanted to go home. It wasnt like Rich was the driving factor to him going back to the Cavs. So for Riley to pass on a talent like Bledsoe that could honestly be a key building piece for the future. I think that would be a horrible choice & a L for Riley.

Great article. Looks like they were truely caught off gaurd even after meeting with Bron. All the signs point to Lebron having his mind made up beforehand so why not tell Pat earlier? I doubt it would've made a difference. We got the guys we wanted and put together a good team.

I think our goal is cao flexibility for 2016. Bledaoe is nice but we'd have to lock him down long term, past 2016.Bledsoe is a very good player that you can build around.

I'm really suspicious of e everything LeBron does now.Everything is self promoting. The only reason he gives Bledose props is because they have the same agent.

i'd hate to see us make Lebron our Nicks Saban 2.0. Stop over-analyzing everything e does/did just because he left. Teams trade players all the rime. Players leave via FA all the time
