James Jones, and Mike Miller are signed with the Cavaliers. :skip:and now, sources say Ray may sign with the Cavaliers :ld: Speaking with suspicion, Lebron possibly was doing some recruiting in Miami knowing he was going to leave to Cleveland:ohhh:

Also loved JJ for always being a true pro when he was on the Heat. But he is dead to me now that he went to the Cavs. :shaq2:

Also for our last two roster spots

I would like to add the combination of Marion/Boozer or Stuckey/Boozer or Marion/Stuckey? What do you guys think?

I rather we sign Hamilton before we sign Boozer :skip: Marion will be a decent fit if we slide Ennis in the 2 position, so we won't overload the sf spot. I will like to see Beasley be the backup for Deng.

Nah, ill take Boozer. More consistent on offense plus a better on the glass. Look Boozers defense is ghost but so is Hamilton's.

There are no real good 2 guard back ups. Unless we can get Stuckey. Marion can guard some 2's but isnt a scorer. Right now Beas would be my last option.

We need a center to play defense. That swarming trap defense is great, but it takes so much out of our players. I think that's a big part of why Wade has aged like he has. Having big men to protect the rim that our wing defenders can funnel them into is like how the Ravens used to jam receivers and tight ends into the middle with guys like Reed and pollard ready to lay the wood or jump routes for interceptions. Getting clobbered on the glass every night wears the smaller players out. Shane aged in hamster or mouse years here. I think it's time to play a bit more traditional.

yeah we really need sign a full time rim protector and rebounder.

even if we don't get a back sg we can always go big and not worry too much
but going small with this roster isn't gonna work anymore.

I think Byron Mullens is the best affordable option right now.
Good size, young, healthy,
Might be able to put up 10 and 10 with 25-30 minutes.

Ennis's shooting ability has improved tremendously in his development in the D-League and oversea. Really, it won't hurt to have him to be the second shooting guard when he can score any where in the floor. Boozer will be a waste because we already have a Bosh/McRobert/and Udonis in the PF. There won't be enough minutes for him to play.

I agreed. Needless to say, we still haven't made any move to pick up a center that could protect the rim and be productive on the glass. The market is drying up with no serviceable center in sight. The center position has been the toughest hole to fill since Shaq left Miami. Does Miami have some option that are available to get a center that we need ?

we could pick up Epke Udoh, a bit undersized but a decent defender.
