Michael Beasley definitely won't be back with the Heat, agent Jared Karnes said Tuesday. The Heat never made an offer, preferring instead to sign journeyman Shawne Williams, whose career hasn't been nearly as productive as Beasley's. The Lakers twice have watched Beasley work out, and they remain a possibility for him. The Heat's decision not to retain Beasley --- in spite of his offensive gifts --- ultimately came down to the coaching staff's lack of complete trust in him. Defense and maturity issues were cited by one NBA official briefed on the Heat's decision, though Beasley behaved more maturely last season than in his earlier stint with the Heat. Miami Herald

finally we can close the chapter on the worst draft bust in heat history.
out of all the players we got from colleges in Kansas I think you know who we'd rather ride with.

the fact that Beasley hasn't been sign to lakers yet shows how much faith people have in him.

A little revisionist history but we could of had either Kevin Love, Brook Lopez, or Westbrook with that pick. :wow:

I wouldn't be surprised if Beasley doesn't get signed. His agent better start looking international.

Hmmm yeah id's say he's about the biggest bust we've had. And i've had my share of dissapointment in Heat drafts. From Khalid Reeves and Harold Miner to Beasley.

Now if only his stans will finally let go of the sh!t. But i feel their pain. I was once a Harold Miner stan in HS and i hated Kevin Loughery and still hate Brian Shaw for getting all of Miner's playtime.

I dont care what you all say but im sure Riley deep down must resent/hate Spoelstra and his own entire scouting staff for this one.

Spo was so high on Beasley while Riley just wanted to trade the pick because he saw through Beasley's bullsh!t. I aint gonna front I wanted Beasley over Rose, myself. But thats because i thought he was bigger and listening to all the hype about him. Wade and Riley wanted Rose too. But midway through his first year i started to see the nonsense. And to think we could have had Love or Westbrook :banderas:

Oh well... what's done is done. Moving on:manny:

But honestly, yo. Micky and Riley need to kidnap the Spurs and OKC's scout team and bring them to Miami. Im sure them mofos got skeletons in their closets. I say we find said skeletons and then tell them "Come to Miami and we'll double your salary. Refuse and we put your sh!t all over the Internet.":leostare:

I remember some talk going in to the draft was Brand and Lopez for Marion and Beasley, but Brand committed to Philly before it could get off the ground

I don't even care anymore. Bron was leaving regardless. Only way he was staying is if we moved the team to Cleveland :manny:
