Guys that they were expecting to sign for less might hold out for more after seeing what everyone else is getting. Not to mention all the teams that cleared cap space and now have to get back to the salary floor. Miami could wind up being priced out of a big chunk of the market.

I agree. Which is why I think Pat is smart enough to not cripple the team for next year and 2016.

I say blow up the damn tean.

Let bosh and wade walk. Sign lebron and melo for 40 mil combined.

Use the last 22 mill to fill out the roster
