I didn't like any of the off-season moves last year but this year might be worse.

Skolnick on the Ticket right now reiterates talk of Wade/Bosh taking 11/12 mil is bullshyt, said Wade deal would be "close" to 12 but not quite there.

-He said he only reports on the things he's 100% confident on, and that he's 100% confident market has run away from the Heat, particularly on the wings, and that is a concern. Previously thought they would make a run at Lowry but that was overblown by agent. Says you cant get on the Heat for not blowing cash on these guys that are getting overpaid, but they need to get creative.

-Says "interest" in Gasol may be overblown. They aren't putting all their eggs in the Gasol basket.

-Thinks we're headed toward Deng/Ariza if they are willing to come down on the price (around 8 mil). Gasol is outside possibility.

-Asked who they might finally come to a deal with: Says it would take a few days, but wouldn't be surprised if within the next 24 hrs one of those targets comes into their price range.

-Chance Big 3 returns: 85%+

Skolnick did say that a big thing for us this off season was going to be to get some help for Bron(defensive wise). So the high interest in Deng & Ariza makes sense.

He'll be 33 next season and his game is completely reliant on athleticism, dude has no jumper and is a shell of his former self.

He missed 28 games last year just to save him for the finals and still ended up looking old and slow, but you think he's worth more than that and will be better if he has to play a full 82?

I can't honestly imagine us walking away with absolutely nothing from FA but at the same time it doesn't look good right now.

I cant we will come away with some pieces. Maybe wont be a Deng or Ariza type of player. But Riles will at the end of the day get pieces that will help us win. Even if its a vet like Marion or Marvin Williams(who i hate to say, i guess wouldnt be a bad addition ).
