You can say I'm in crazy denial, but I would actually be relieved to see LeBron leave the Heat sooner than later. I feel like his silence on committing long term will continue to be a shadow of the team even if he signs another contract. You know a player is committed to staying with the franchise when you see the how Kobe, Duncan, Wade, and Dirk handle their free agency.

LeBron is just different in that regards and feels only loyal to the most talented roster now. 4 years ago, he was willing to take a paycut as Wade and Bosh were superstars at the time. Rightfully so, he doesn't feel that way after playing a crazy amount of minutes and carrying the team the last season. That wear and tear is real. As a Heat fan, I don't see how you can be mad at him. He kept his word on delivering rings and was nothing but exemplary off the court. We knew he was never here for the long haul, he even mentioned the idea of going back to Cleveland before the first season started. LeBron's reign in Miami was and will always be temporary.

If LeBron left, there is still some talent to round out the roster assuming Bosh and Wade stays. This is how I would like the roster to look:

PG: Cole/Napier
SG: Wade/Allen
SF: Deng/Butler
PF: Bosh/Lewis/Haslem
C: Okafor/Anderson

as a fan of the team I want LeBron to be here because it makes us a better team. But I agree his refusal (atleast to this point) to commit long term is a turn off to me. He's not in the same mold of a Wade/UD in that regard. For once I'd like to see him come out and say this where I want to play, this is where I want to retire. As much as Riley and this franchise had gone to bat for him the last 4 years I don't think it's asking a whole lot.

Marvin Williams solidly on "next" line for threes after top four/five. Talking with Spurs, Heat, Wizards, Hornets, Clips, Magic, Suns.
That sounds like another guy that'll get overpaid, and probably not by Riley.

I think he's waiting for the dust to settle so he can sign the guys willing to take true value or a little less. That means Morrow, Alan Anderson, and maybe Marvin Williams if he's still waiting around. I also read they've contacted Nick Young.

i dont know if Alan Anderson is a option for us. He was acting real tough when we played the Nets & he was talking tough too.

The thing with Gasol is he has more of a "post" game then Bosh, he has good touch from midrange but we won't have to worry about him camping out at the 3 point line not getting any boards. Most importantly, it would be nice to have a center who is not a complete offensive liability. Love UD but can't afford a 0 pts/5 reb stat line from a starter in the front court
Gasol is a good passer too

I'm only mentioning him because Skolnick dropped his name a couple of times, including once or twice on Twitter. He made it sound like Morrow and Alan Anderson are ready to go as soon as Riley wants to sign them. Keep in mind: The team already went after Lance Stephenson and we all saw the crazy shyt he did in the playoffs.
