Any given part of the day 1500 people will play an artist song they never intended to yet it will count towards a sale. Get apple to put your song in the first 5 songs played on every playlist. Seems like an easy way to forge thousands of sales a day. But why would the music industry fake success

What's up with y'all nikkas wanting hip hop to fail so bad? If a nikka listen to a song without paying for the music it will be counted. What's wrong with that? You getting to listen to the sh*t for free but the artist will be getting a check and a plat for it. What's wrong with that? Don't want contribute to that artist then don't click their sh*t. Y'all nikkas dedicate y'all whole lives to listening to and discussing these artists but y'all don't want them to succeed and get rich? nikkas mad cause the industry found a way to monetize nikkas listening to artist's music for free

And the music industry owes a boatload to the streaming services. It took them embarrassingly long to figure out how to adapt to piracy and now they're headed for their third straight year of financial growth. The music biz is actually profitable again.

It's been this way for 2 years already. Isn't the 10 songs streamed from 1 album = 1 sale the newer development?
They'd fake it because when you're able to project that an artist is more successful than they are bigger oportunties come.
