They don't want to listen to anyone older
They want to continue to act like "it's just trolling/just the internet"
They all pretend to be untouchable
And although this could've been 100% random, the energy around this kid has been troubling for a while
I get the counterpoint that rap has always been reckless, but we have more and more examples each day of how rap can be at it's worst, so the up and comers should really learn from history. In the 90s rap was much younger but that was 20 years ago. We have 20 additional years of maturation around this music genre, these kids need to learn.
All that being said... It's incredibly sad
