You have to look at blacks as being super lowly and unable to think on their own to go with the theory that music corrupts the youth.

you have to be really idiotic to actually believe this. Advertising/marketing is a multi billion dollar industry. people study and understand the power of influence and different ways to achieve it. if these people have no influence, why are they paid top dollar for endorsement deals?
its that in this system of racism white supremacy blacks' influence is used for self destruction, paid for by the white executives.

I for one believe people are capable of being intelligent and dissecting what information to beleive in and what information to disregard. I don't believe they are empty vessels with no mind that will simply do as they are told and believe what they are told, at the end of the day its their choice.
Black crime and black violent crime and black murder has decreased since the 70s to the present.
There is clear evidence that we should attack the system, but to claim that blacks are more violent and etc because of rap music, its an argument that doesn't fit reality. It is a favorite staple of white supremacist though.
well you're not considering the context. blacks were enslaved, subjugated by jim crow, mass incarcerated, and here we are today. do you not think the constant negative images/messages have an effect on us after 400 years? you still havent explained why celebs are paid top dollar for endorsements if they dont have the power of persuasion?
i've never argued that blacks are more violent because of rap. in fact, i think the biggest harm/danger of main stream, white owned and promoted rap has been to the global image of black people...which is used to justify the killing of unarmed black men women and children...sort of how the propaganda was allegedly used against the jews in germany.
also rap is used as a tool to infect black americans/all americans with a consumer mentality as well imo

You are trying to expand your argument because your initial contention of hip hop destroying black community and encouraging violent behavior is demonstrably false.
That said I am well aware of black american slavery, jim crow, the prison industrial complex and the images the white media presents. I'm also aware that its a image that doesn't represent the reality of black americans living in the world, we aren't all living in the hood, uneducated, products of broken homes, and looking for a white helping hand either.
Celebs are paid for endorsements because it hopes their star power will convince their fans to buy what they are selling. It isn't a guarantee that it will do so though, which is my point, at the end of the day every indidvual who is being target makes the decision to accept or to reject what is being sold, they aren't some empty vessal with no agency of their own who simply does and believes what they are told to believe by the media and etc.
How are black americans and blacks worldwide harmed by images that white racist show of them, when before rap those same white racists and governments supported genocide, murder, rape, enslavement, destruction of blacks around the world? You talk like white supremacy is worse now than say when the Belgians were committing genocide in the Congo. Time to stop blaming white racism and acceptance of white supremacy on anyone but the person who embraces and accepts it. IMHO.
