East is looking spicy. I’m hoping the Hornets/Hawks make it to the 5/6th spot to avoid the foolery. Raptors, Heat, Magic and 6’ers feel about right to be in the play in this year. Can any of these teams take down the Pistons or Celtics?

Even moreso than tanking allegations they need to somehow steer the discourse around the league in a more positive direction

Unfortunately, the antagonism by the media is justified. You’ve got the NBAPA complaining about how unfair it is that players won’t qualify for All NBA for not playing at least 65 games (a rule they agreed to not more than a year ago), you’ve got a full third of NBA teams tanking right now, making the league mostly unwatchable on a nightly basis and you’ve got players that are still load managing nationally televised games. The antagonism from the media is definitely more than justified, and fans are getting sick of these issues too.

No one says "bu...bu...but how they gonna get better...whoa is them boo hoo" either. We accept that they are ass for decades because of them not the system...or these players that just wanna play in certain markets or team up.
Beyond that tanking is harder in football because nikkas aint guaranteed shyt. You also got so many moving parts. One player, no matter how great, cant single-handedly lift your franchise.
All that said we do hear about tanking for whoever when there is a top QB coming out.
