It’s a different type of criminal.

An FTX exec being a violent rapist doesn’t mean that their product was illegitimate Since it’s a financial company.

An FTX exec running financial fraud means the company was illegitimate and the endorsers were telling consumers to give their money to an illegitimate financial institution.

Should the pitch people be responsible? Idk, but there is a clearer line for this case than there is for suing endorsers supporting a legitimate financial product but the execs are violent rapists.
