The whole staff is incompetent, AD is just really that great.real talk tho monty really isnt that great a coach. is the peli's owner really involved as in watching all the games, some personnel input etc or is he kinda distant? im not all that familiar.
He's not as hands on as he is with the saints, but he wants the team to be winners. I thought monty deserved one more year just off the progress they made this year and how good AD will be next year, but if they don't have significant improvement then it might be time. Players love him thoreal talk tho monty really isnt that great a coach. is the peli's owner really involved as in watching all the games, some personnel input etc or is he kinda distant? im not all that familiar.

They basically have d-league talent outside of Asik and the selfish shooting guards
Oh he is involved alright, they traded Nerlens Noel away...for ANOTHER shooting guardI hear that. I thought AD warranted the same MVP talk that Westbrook was getting. He had (i believe) a top 5 all time season PER.
My angle on that post was..if the owner really isnt that involved then it makes more sense to me that there would be an arbitrary playoffs or else requirement. If he is involved and watches all the games then he should be able to tell if the staff is doing a good job and know that 1 game shouldnt be make or break.

Aside from trading away Noel, he's doing a good job building IMO![]()
Like we can just gloss over trading Noel when they'd now have to throw a huge offer sheet at Asik to essentially match the production Noel could give them at a fraction of the cost?
You call paying Jrue Holiday, Eric Gordon and Tyreke Evans a combined $35 million dollars a year "doing a good job building" when they are all minus defenders and have redundant offensive skill sets?
I'd love to see what you consider a bad job rebuilding.
