Longtime Wu-Tang family member Shyheim The Rugged Child turned himself in yesterday for charges relating to fatal hit-and-run car accident. Police say Shyheim Franklin was driving on New Year’s Day when he ran a red light and killed a 29-year-old bakery worker (Felipe Avila). The now 36-year-old rapper turned himself in to police on Wednesday in connection with the New Brighton accident. Shy is also facing a charge of leaving the scene of a fatal accident, a class D felony. At the time of his arrest, the NY rapper was out on $10,000 bail following his April 2013 arrest on gun and drug possession charges.
