I'm disturbed at how high racial tensions are in this country. Why is a video like this going viral? Why are gossip blogs talking about it? Why is the news reporting it? Why are there millions of views on youtube? Why does such a video incite such intrigue and debate?

If I saw this in real life I would just dismiss it as a crazy girl starting trouble. I don't like how people make a big deal out of everything.

Yeah, I saw it on the news last night and wondered the same thing.

SFSU Investigating Video Of Black Woman Confronting White Man For Wearing Dreads

She lucked out. The police did come, and said that dread dude could file charges for battery and a hate crime. He declined. CBS San Fran had an interview with him. His statement was that he was walking outside and went up to her group who was passing out flyers for some event and said he wanted a flyer. She said she doesn't want his type at the event, and he moved on. She followed him inside the building, down two flights of stairs and confronted him. She's cray cray
unbelievable pigs considered pressing hate crimes and assault against this sister for asking inquiring why a wigga why was her biting her culture while holding his arms yet when cac school authorities harass black students for wearing natural black hairstyles and paddle them the same laws are no where to be found:aicmon:Only in Ameikkkuh:pacspit:

I've had my hair locked probably longer than this woman has even been alive. She's wrong on every level, from how she confronted this dude to her weak ass reasoning and apparently very limited knowledge on the history of dreads. Cultures on every continent with zero connection to each other wear dreadlocks. There is no uniform reason why people lock their hair. For some it's religious, for some cultural, for some aesthetic.

Lets see her run up on some tyagi in India talking that its wrong for you to wear your hair in locks bullsh*t.

Facts. With that said, assault charges? :mjlol: I swear this pussified college culture is on some other shyt.

No they aren't. They are only associated with black people now because of reggae and rastafarianism. Most Africans aren't even on that dread shyt. The chick was wrong, period, and her stupidity is going to cost her. Hope it was worth it.

society is going through an adjustment phase.
People arent used to this amount of news/information.
Most people cant handle knowing about EVERYTHING that is happening in the world.

This is why people are so extreme now...seems like very few people can take a middle ground on any subject...
...for example.

A white guy thinks that mexicans are a big problem in the U.S...so he ends up taking in news from people that talk about mexican issues...he also looks for news stories of illegal Mexicans breaking the law...and joins FB groups about illegal Mexicans...
...he ends up going down a rabbit hole of taking in all this negative information about Mexicans...so now he is really extreme with his views...
...he cant even entertain the idea that all Mexicans arent bad....he's seen too many news stories about bad Mexicans.

Now replace that example w/ every race, religion, gender, diet, belief system, etc....
...people have gone full retard.

Thats why news is one of the biggest hustles out there now.
People on Youtube and TV saying they represent a certain group...and they only talk about how their group is being repressed, and how other groups are messing up the country.
Easy money.

Rastafarian/reggae culture(dreads included) is Afro Jamaican culture and thus an extension of African culture:comeon:Jamaicans may have popularized them in modern times but locks came from the motherland and have been worn by black people long before there was a Jamaica

Rastas wearing locs came from emulating Cushytic tribes.
