The pistons and celtics were done both by 1992 or 1993. Not sure when Cleveland totally went to shyt, but as for New York and Miami, yeah those were some goon squads. As a snowbird myself, I'm pretty familiar with what those guys were both about. The romanticizing of the 1990's annoys me though. Yeah we grew up watching it and it was great, but let's be real. If the players of this age had those same rules, they'd adapt fine. The great ones always do.

:sas2: That's all I read, couldn't understand the rest of that gibberish. Jordan came into the league in what, '84? '85? So that's 7-8 years playing against the Celtic/Pistons in their prime. There's been no real goon squad since '04 Pistons, who by the way gave Kobe all he could handle, and even then those Pistons where nothing compared to Tiger Knee Rodman and Bill "I'll f*ck you up :birdman:" Laimbeeer.

Talk about Kobe vs Jordan, but dont know the facts brehs:mjlol:

Kobe put up 33 points on Jordan and Pippen....with Elden Campbell starting at Center. Shaq didnt play:umad:

:manny: How'd the Lakers do that season though? :sas2::pachaha: Use one game to compare two careers brehs.

fukk that, the disrespect that SHAQ gets in these discussions.

Shaq was the top dog on those early 2000s Lakers teams but you've got people who legitimately revised history to make it seem as though Shaq was playing second fiddle to Kobe Bryant on some Pau Gasol shyt.

he was during the 4th quarters :mjpls:

remember hack a shaq. late in games, when it was winning time, it was Kobe not Shaq who we played thru. see Game 7 2000 against the Blazers.

I was referring to the 90's. Nobody mentions the 80's when talking about Jordan really. At least not on here.

Number one, what about the other 47 minutes of the game? :mjpls:

Number two, how many times was Shaq NOT on the court during crunch time?

Number three, who scored the most memorable bucket during that Game 7 2000 game? :shaq:

So to clarify, if Brandon Jennings said that Derek Fisher was the best player on those Laker teams, he would be right because he's in the NBA, correct? Or are you only using this stupid ass "He's in the NBA so he's right and you're wrong" logic because he's siding with your favorite player?

:sas1::sas2:

nothing crazy about thinking kobe is better than mike. stop trying to make it so. many other established nba stars have said so. most recently the reigning NBA MVP Kevin Durant who said Kobe was the GOAT or at worst he and MJ were 1 and 1a.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
still better at ball than 99.9999% of humanity.

i'll take b. jennings word on basketball over some dude who still lives in his moms basement typing on a computer.

You'd take Darren Wilson's word on it if it came to Kobe.

As for the rest of the post, we gonna act like you didn't lie about your age breh and get younger every year you posted? :dead:

Ok. So if he said LeBron or Duncan > Kobe then he would be right and you or any other Kobe stan that disagrees would be wrong?

If most NBA players said duncan or lebron were better than kobe, then yes that would make me rethink my views. but the reality is they don't. most of kobe's peers have said he's been the best player of the post-jordan era. everyone from durant to dirk to wade. all have recently been quoted as saying that.

I think he's talking about a game where CHI wss winning by like 30 and Kobe put in work on Randy Brown type nikkas while MJ was icing his knees. There might be another one I'm forgetting....

actually no. kobe put that work on mj.

got so bad in the second matchup that jordan was begging pippen to check kobe.

lol @ the thought that if you played in the league your opinion is gold and automatically better than someone else that didnt play in the league. theres plenty of people out there that understand the game of basketball better than a cat like brandon jennings, he just had the athleticism and skills to play at that level. hardly means he knows more about the game
