shock g is dope but 2nd place goes to Daz look at all the dope beats he has done for the chronic doggystyle dogg food all yez on me and the list goes on. shock g cant fukk with Dazs catalogue :myman:

i feel that, i can see someone sayin' that

daz would be my second pick but shock g had more of a reach and range to me as a producer and he had a better run than daz to me

shock g is like quik but a bit more psychedelic with his shyt at times

shock g's fear of a mixed planet gotta be 1 of the most underrated albums of the last 15 years

but i ain't mad at the daz pick, i'd say daz is my 3rd pick from the west coast

Shock G is in the same discussion as Khayree.

Shock has the edge because he has more work in the mainstream.

Dre still holds the top spot in the West.

In terms of actual hands on talent, its Quik no question; but Dre has that platinum ear.

you gon really act like shock g ain't THAT nice? naw, nikka. you stop it :martin:

I don't know why you insist on making a thread pitting west coast producers against each other.
Why can't you just enjoy the chit?

I mean, it's one thing to show some love to Shock G. But when
you say something like "he's the second best after Quik", all that's gonna do is bring people in here
to argue how he ain't...like myself. Is that what you wanted to happen?

Because for real, Shock G ain't made a fire beat since 1994.
And he ain't even the best producer out of The Bay.
I don't wanna have to say things like that.
But you made me say it by making this wild-ass claim. Thanks.
