Some people say he should have created more resources. Problem is that doesn't stop those who control resources already from taking control of those as well since they have the means and modes.

I guess he could have brainwashed everyone to get along, but that removes freewill and that is another argument. So what other options did he have?

Reverse time to the beginning and rule as a GOD while keeping track of populations and resources. Rule all beings with the gauntlet and become more powerful over time.
Good idea. Probably the only way, except does he have the capacity for it. He might be omnipotent but was he omnipresent and omniscient?

I don't like to do Marvel's work for free but, his plan is stupid. Firstly, he assumes the world's he leaves in ruins will adjust accordingly into a utopia.

In actuality, the selfish nature of species will start hoarding again. The human species itself only took 60 years to add 1.6 billion people to the world.

This is why Watchmen is so great, they did all of this in one movie.

But you can't change human nature.

Or in his case the nature of Having. That's why people fight over resources because one doesn't want to surrender it to the other.

Basic principles Thanos can't grasp because he spearheaded himself into the philosophy Titan didn't use to save itself.

easily could’ve gotten rid of those who horde all our resources and create the miserable conditions that plague this earth

but of course, comic book nerd logic: get rid of the people oppressed and not the oppressors

shoutout to Batman:mjpls:
Fun fact Napoleon created an oppressive regime right after the French revolution dethroned the King.
