And ultimately that's why i have mixed feelings about the album. If i listen to it in a vacuum, sonically and lyrically/delivery/substance wise, i feel it's a great album that i enjoy very much. But in the context of his career, etc something seems off for me. It's always hard to consume art while ignoring the outside and the artist's real life especially in rap music where it's often referenced.
