You're falling prey to guilt by association, assuming that any proffered solution that originates from whites is not practical or feasible. Just because I happen to echo certain sentiments that you might hear from "white folks," doesn't mean that what I'm saying is without merit. A white man who gets outraged at the gun violence in our inner cities and says that the blacks in those areas are acting uncivilized is most likely a racist. If a black man says the same thing, there is a great chance he is a black who is genuinely saddened and outraged at what he observes of his people.
